I had a mixed experience at Hostel The Golden Stork. The location was excellent, making it super easy to explore the city, and the staff were incredibly friendly. However, the room I stayed in felt stuffy and was quite cramped, making it less comfortable than I'd hoped.

Rooms

I stayed in a 12-bed dorm that came with a locker, but you gotta bring your own lock. The airflow wasn't great, and the place felt a bit stuffy. There were only a couple of working sinks for six rooms, which was a bit of a hassle.
Service

The staff were really friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. They provided great info about the city, which I appreciated, but I did feel some pressure during checkout.

This hostel is right near the center and super close to Chinatown, which was perfect for exploring. I could easily get to trams and access everything I wanted to see.
Dining

I liked the cafe area where you could bring your own food. Unfortunately, it closed during the night, which was a bit of a downer.
Facilities

The lack of a communal kitchen was a letdown, and the bathrooms could use more frequent cleaning since they had some unpleasant smells. Also, there was no towel service, so I had to bring my own.

My stay at Hostel The Golden Stork was quite mixed. The location near the city center was a major plus, making it easy to explore The Hague. However, I found the rooms a bit cramped and lacking ventilation. The bathrooms could really use more frequent cleaning. Overall, it had its charm, but some improvements are definitely needed.

I stayed in a 12-bed room, which was a bit stuffy and the air cooling wasn't very strong. The room had a locker box, but I had to bring my own lock. Though the size worked okay for me, others might find it tight.
Service

The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. Check-in was smooth, and they even let you bring your own food to the café.

Being close to the city center and the tram stop made it super convenient for exploring The Hague. I loved how easy it was to get around from the hostel.
Dining

The café had a nice vibe, although it was only open during limited hours. It was good to know I could bring my own food, but a shared kitchen would've been a great addition.
Facilities

Facilities like the lounge were nice, but the bathrooms had a noticeable odor and cleanliness issues. Additionally, the lack of a shared kitchen was a downside for me.

I had a mixed experience at Hostel The Golden Stork. The location is fantastic, right by a canal and close to the tram and central station. but I found some of the facilities lackluster and not very clean. The friendly staff were a highlight, but the overall cleanliness and noise issues were disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
I stayed in a mixed dorm, but the room felt cramped, and some of the pillows were yellow and not very fresh. The lack of windows was unsettling, especially for someone who dislikes small spaces. The toilet cleanliness could also improve, especially when busy.
Service
8.0
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, which made a positive impact on my stay. They also provided good tips about the area and were helpful with any questions I had.
Location

The location is definitely a strong point—right next to a picturesque canal and conveniently close to the tram, making it easy to reach everything in The Hague. I loved being so close to the central station.
Dining

I enjoyed the dining options here. the oatmeal and jam at breakfast were quite nice. Plus, I appreciated the variety of vegetarian and vegan choices on the menu. The 20% discount for guests is a great bonus too.
Facilities

While there was a common area that served as a bar/cafe, I found it a bit lacking overall. There was no kitchen, and the showers were decent, but I wouldn't say the facilities were noteworthy.

My stay at Hostel The Golden Stork was enjoyable, with a great location near the city center and close to a canal. However, the rooms were quite small and lacked adequate ventilation. Still, the friendly staff and the café area added a nice touch to the experience.

There was a bar and café area, but the lack of a shared kitchen was a bit of a drawback for me. The common lounge closed early, limiting socializing at night.

I had a mixed experience at Hostel The Golden Stork. The location was a big plus; it’s close to the city center and the central station, making it easy to explore. However, the cleanliness and room conditions left much to be desired, with cramped quarters and a bit of a funky smell. The lack of a communal kitchen was a bummer too, but I did enjoy the café-bar area for some casual hangouts.

Rooms

The rooms were pretty small and crowded, which made it hard to get comfortable. I found them not as clean as they should’ve been, and some didn't even have windows. Not exactly a pleasant stay.
Service

The staff were friendly and helpful, which was a nice touch despite the chaos of the place. They offered assistance and kept the vibe friendly.
Location

Conveniently located near the city center and close to the central station, so I could easily get around. I really appreciated being able to walk to most attractions.
Dining

While there wasn't a full kitchen, the café-bar area was decent and offered a nice breakfast by the canal. Plus, I enjoyed the 20% discount on the menu as a guest.

They didn't have a kitchen for cooking, and the communal area was good for casual hanging but not really a social hub. Shower facilities were decent, though.
